For our Business Unit Railcar Europe in Hamburg we are looking for you as Commercial Data Steward (d/f/m) as soon as possible.
In this role, you will be responsible for the entire life cycle of relevant pricing & commercial data. You will ensure the quality of data and that proper standards for collection, processing and organization of data are in place. You will organize data and help solve data-related issues by managing data corruption or mapping data between programs.
Your tasks:
- Create processes that allow employees to interact with the data, e.g., how to collect data, how to enter it into databases and how to share data.
- Create and enforce rules and regulations to make data usable to stakeholders.
- Maintain data and help remove duplication and imperfections.
- Monitor data usage to prevent breaches.
- Understanding which departments records data.
- Use feedback and questions to help create systems for maintaining high quality data.
- Make recommendations to management and provide them with information necessary to predict trends and make more informed decisions.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree or apprenticeship in a relevant field (e.g. Economics, Business, IT, Computer Science).

Developed understanding of database structures and proven experience working with data models and warehousing concepts.

Familiarity with the needs of each department within a company.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data sets.

Skills with programming languages is a plus.
