For our headquarter in Hamburg we are looking for you as Management Information Leader (d/f/m) Business Improvement as soon as possible .

Your tasks:

  • Be a key player in the VTG Business Improvement team and the lead person in terms of competency and initiatives around KPI- and metrics-dashboards
  • Support VTG Lean efforts (eg Re: think!)
  • Develop a profound understanding of what is important to our customer, our quality (e.g. Critical to Quality, CTQ) for multiple processes, always in cooperation with team and functional leaders
  • Clearly articulate how performance improvements benefit customer and business
  • Develop and maintain solid and productive intra funtional relationships to drive support two ways (e.g. Finance/BI, IT)
  • Own, develop and launch definitions of process performance metrics as well as institutionalize these metrics into an Operational Management Information (MI) System or Dashboard
  • Based on data, metrics and feedback from customers and business – drive projects with clear benefits and develop tracking mechanisms to ensure delivery of each project
  • Take the lead in communicating process knowledge as well as the benefits of a continuously improving process and coach functional leaders on this topic
  • Build virtual teams, be the key influencer and ‘inspirer’ of your process
  • Be the bearer of the mindset and engine that improvements efforts and improved performance will make business heroes
  • Promote and foster a culture of ownership with regards to KPIs

Your profile:

  • Completed university degree in finance, engineering or equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in process management
  • Certificates in process improvement methods (corporate initiatives, 6 sigma, Lean, etc.)
  • Expertise in working with cross functional initiatives
  • Excellent PMO skills, both setting up and driving projects
  • Elementary finance skills
  • Solid strength on Database management (Excel, Access, etc.) as well as experience in creating dashboards and reports in any BI tool
  • Technology company background is helpful (automotive, aviation, etc.)
  • Consulting experience a plus
  • Very good English skills, good German skills desirable, other european languages are a plus
  • Working place: preferably Hamburg, remote negotiable
